The new version of the standard "Safety Specification for Inflatable Amusement Facilities" (GB 37219-2023) has been released and will be implemented on July 1st this year.

GB 37219-2023 applies to inflatable amusement facilities for children aged 3-14 for use on land, and it sets out requirements for safety, materials, and use management.

In terms of safety requirements, it covers fixedness, structural integrity, protrusions, entrances and openings, walls, inflatable slides, squeeze protection, electrical devices, inflatable blowers, special requirements for water-inflatable amusement facilities, special requirements for non-continuous inflatable amusement facilities, site requirements, packaging and storage, number of players, emergency handling, safety signs, design life, and disposal.
